Wirksworth Festival
I had an amazing day in Wirksworth over the weekend, it was my first time visiting the festival but was well worth the visit. Some of the work there was amazing and very inspiring…being as it was such a lovely day I had the camera out ready to snap the beautiful village and surroundings.
The legs which were signed by everyone who passed the doors of this amazing event…fortunately I was one of the first so not many signatures yet…
I loved the sculpture garden it was so beautiful, this chair was my favourite piece.

In 2005, the university's textile design department hit the headlines when it and the universities of Lancaster, Southampton and Leeds unveiled replicas of clothing worn by the mountaineer during his 1924 attempted ascent of Everest.
University of Derby textile design graduates Sophie Fenton, left, and Sophie Marks box up the Mallory scarves for the University's International Office. Above, a selection of the scarves, which will be sent
