Final Display

Nearly there...

To allow all the Ipad covers to be shown each one has been rolled and secured onto the bottom shelf allowing the other samples on the higher shelves to show how they become Ipoad pockets with the display "fake" Ipads.

Basket fabrics and plush towels have been hung on the wooden ladder at the side of the display which shows a variety of textures and patterns...

The first board has one of my basket bags hanging in the centre, hung from jute rope and attached to boating hooks.

The smaller rucksack style basket bag has also been hung by a boating hook...

Over  lapping the handles with jute rope...

Bellow the shelving are a few of my samples, hung by rope circles which have been stitched together.

To customize the shelving I added some of the buttons used in the collection and corks into the base of the cabinet...

To in keep with the materials used throughout the project I decided to use rope to frame the collection...using rope circles like previously with the jute entwined between them... 

rope has also been combined into the props used in the collection, in keeping with my outdoor living theme I chose to use a selection of pots around the display.

The degree show ideas

 

 

The display for my show is inspired by my visual research collected in Barcelona… I wanted to involve old wooden pieces which link in with the outdoors/garden products as well as ropes and cords.

 

 

 

 

 

This wooden frame which has been made from an old grocery tray has had two shelves added into it to house my Ipad cases.

 

 

 

 

My blankets, towels and basket fabrics are displayed in a rustic wooden ladder.
