After completing the George Mallory replica scarf collection...it has shone light on the intriguing story and here the Derby Telegraph explains all... 

History made at city mill in friends' tribute to Everest hero

REPLICAS of a scarf worn by British mountaineering hero George Mallory on his ill-fated Everest expedition have been created at the University of Derby – and are set to travel around the world.
In 2005, the university's textile design department hit the headlines when it and the universities of Lancaster, Southampton and Leeds unveiled replicas of clothing worn by the mountaineer during his 1924 attempted ascent of Everest.

What's next...

Since the Derby degree show and New Designers it's been a busy couple of months, with starting my new job at Shima Seiki and exploring new inspirations whilst on a few holiday's, time has flown by...

Greece was such a amazing place to visit, the sites were so beautiful and some of the photographs took are inspiration for my next knitwear collection.
